Digital Realty operates the world’s first SCION node within a colocation environment, made available globally via PlatformDIGITAL® and orchestrated by ServiceFabric®. This gives financial firms trusted access to one of the most secure and transparent routing models available today.
Over 300 institutions have already joined the SCION-based Secure Swiss Finance Network (SSFN), which is backed by the Swiss National Bank and SIX. With native protection against BGP hijacking, DDoS attacks, and the ability to enforce geographical data boundaries (geofencing), SCION addresses growing cybersecurity threats with precision.
